A different take on the wedding photos!

I thought I'd have a play with the new Autumn Traditions paper from the Autumn/winter mini and I just love the new bird punch. I've had lots of fun with this punch already!

Again I've gone for an elegant look. I started off with Mellow Moss cardstock -soon to be retired :( - and stamped the new Medallion background stamp on it. I added a stip of Autumn traditions DSP and a strip of white cardstock that I ran through my crimper. I wrapped this with some white taffeta ribbon.

I created my embellishments with my bird punch and my trio flower punch. I have also used the Vintage Vogue and greeting from Heard from the Heart stamp sets.

An Engagement card

While I've got lots of cut-up paper on my desk from the wedding album, I thought I'd whip up a card or two as well! This together forever stamp is just the ticket for wedding and engagement cards! This stamp set incudes images and words specifically for these occasions. In classic black and white, it's a very elegant combination. Of course, if you colour the image in, you get a very different look. Look out for the matching wheel!

Haiku DSP on Special this week!

Haiku is another of the SU papers on special until Tuesday. This is one of SU's very handy On Board Art Journals

which I have covered with Haiku paper. It makes a lovely hard cover book which you can personalise however you wish. I am using mine for a Technique book to house all the techniques and samples I have collected.

I have used a Sticky cut letter to which I have applied Olive fine supernova glitter and embellished with a matching felt flower and decorative brad (all SU).

I have another journal which I use for an Ideas book...I collect sketches I like and colour combos I like and keep them all together for when I need inspiration (and don't want to get distracted by turning on the computer....!!!)

DSP paper Special

Raspberry Tart is just ONE of the SU paper packs on Special this week.

It is one of my favourites in the current catalogue (yes, I know...pink and green!!!)

Techniques Classes

Last month, we began a Techniques book class.

The idea is we will learn 2 new techniques every month, place a sample and written instuctions in our book and make 2 cards with the techniques we've learned.

Wedding Scrapping

Hi Everyone

I'm back from sunny QLD :(

Good news is I'm in scrapping mode and have been getting lots of scrapbook pages done the last few days. I took a ton of photos on our holiday but I'm determined to finish my current project before I start another one. That's the PLAN anyway!

So here's a few pics of what I've been doing. Some SU product and some not....trying to use up my stash of product!!!
