Punch happy Christmas card

I designed this card with a view to workshops but decided it was a bit too fiddly. Also you need 1/2 a 12 x 12 sheet for the card base. I still love it though!
I used the Letters to Santa DSP and some of the new stamp sets...Stitched stockings and Merry and Type. You can even spy one of the new punches from the Summer mini - the postage stamp punch which coordinated perfectly with the postage Christmas stamp from that set. There are more coordinating stamps in the mini.
The base was Cherry Cobbler and I have added some narrow taffeta ribbon and some bling.
I also used the new larger scallop circle punch for the Marina mist circle. This one was fun!

Quick Christmas tags

I love collage stamping. You can get creative and pull out your stamps and stamp away.
Sometimes it takes a couple of goes until you get the look you're happy with and sometimes you get it just right in the first go!
I have used a few different stamp sets for these, all stamped on a vanilla tag.
Dasher (of course...who doesn't love Dasher!), Snow swirled, Good Cheer for the most part.
The colours are Riding Hood Red, Garden Green (which has been my go to Green for this Christmas) and Soft Suede. I have sponged the edges to finish them off nicely.
Some ideas to top off your Christmas gifts!

Christmas card with a little extra!

As soon as I saw this stamp set in our new catalogue, I knew I had to have it! For those who know me well, you would know that I love to colour...and this set-Beautiful Season- is perfect for colouring. This card was a card that I made quite of few of, in stages... First I stamped my image, cut out the scallop oval frame and coloured it. Then I added some Crystal effects to the berries. The next stage was to emboss the Riding Hood Red background with the Petals a Plenty die and the Big Shot. This is still my favourite embossing folder for Christmas cards! I then stamped my base RH Red card with Merry Christmas with Versamark ink and gold embossed it with gold embossing powder and my Heat gun Then I stuck all the layers together and added the matching RH Red taffeta ribbon. I'm really pleased with this one. I hope the recipients love it too! Susanne

3D card

This card looks harder than it actually is. Probably not one you'd mass make though!
I've been teaching these over the last month or so in my classes.
The stamps used are from Season of Joy and the cover image is from the fantastic Word Play set.
Love this one for scrapbooking...lots of great words.

Christmas cards

I thought I'd better share some Christmas cards I've been making.
It's a busy time of year for us stampers!
This is a CASE of a card shared at SU Regional training day.
You may have been the lucky recipient of one of these...so beautiful and easy to make!
The beautiful background stamp is Fine Flourish.
The bauble stamp is from Delightful Decorations and the word stamp is from Heard from the heart. I've used Cherry Cobbler for my base card. A little bling finishes off the card beautifully!
