Happy Halloween

I don't generally "DO" Halloween but I had this idea for a Halloween card that I thought might be fun! The base cardstock is Eggplant and Black. The DSP is from the doily pack "Flirtatious" (see not just for pretty cards!) ...though Tess is pretty glammed up for a witch!
I used Tote-ally Tess for the main image. The cat is from C for cat...cute witches cat!
The spooky trees are from Thoughts and Prayers and the little pumpkin is from Button Buddies.
I did lots of sponging on this card! I finished my card off with some black satin ribbon, , the new Lace ribbon border punch and a couple of rhinestones...oh, and seeing my witch Tess is pretty with it and probably off to a Halloween party, I popped a little flower on her hat. I coloured my image with my watercolour crayons and a blender pen. There is also a cute little spotty brad from the in-colour brad pack around the ribbon. Oh, I made my witches hat with the Pennant punch and the small oval punch.
Hope you like my Halloween card and my cute witch Tess.
Enjoy your weekend!

Letters to Santa card

I just completed this card for a sketch challenge at Vicstampers. With my trusty Letters to Santa DSP and my opened pack of glimmer brads this is what I came up with! The Christmas wreath is from the Welcome Christmas set. The new 2 3/8" scallop circle punch fits this stamp perfectly. I cut the image in half to create my scene. All the DSP is from Letters to Santa. The glimmer brads add a nice bit of sparkle to the card (brights pack of 40). The base card is Early expresso and the red is Cherry Cobbler. So, where's the stocking stamps, you ask? Well, they are a special release available right now! With..you guessed it, a matching punch. So for all my girls who hate cutting out, this one's for you! Call me now to get yours...or hostess a workshop and get a set for free...this month only! (crafty-s@hotmail.com) Susanne

Christmas Glimmer

More new goodies have arrived...yay!
I have just opened my Letters to Santa Christmas paper and have my NEW Glimmer brads sitting on my desk to play with. Over the weekend I have just about used the whole pack!
'cos I just can't put one lonely old glimmer brad on my card...Ha, ha!
This one I've added FOUR! I'm still playing with the Petite Pennants punch and thought it would make a great Christmas banner for my little scene. The stamp set is Welcome Christmas..one of my faves... I have stamped the image with Early Expresso on ..Crumb cake..still want to call it kraft!!! and added some bling to the tree. The red banner is cut from the Petal cone die...more about that later.

Shabby Chic in Blue

This is my other Shabby Chic Christmas card using the Beau Chateau paper and the Merry and Type stamp set. This time I chose the blue papers out of the pack and stamped my image to match in Marina Mist. My base card is Kraft (oops, Crumb Cake!) to keep with the shabby chic style. The border punch is the NEW scallop dotted border punch..love this one. The greeting is from the same set and punched out with the decorative label punch and this piece was mounted on a scallop circle and distressed with Soft Suede ink. I added a little bling to the bauble for some Christmas bling! Another Christmas card done! Susanne
