The base card is Cherry Cobbler. I have adhered two strips of the Candy Cane lane dsp to a piece of whisper white card and adhered this to the base card. I have stamped an image from the Oh What Fun stamp set in Early expression and cut this with the largest circle from the stitched die set. I fussy cut the gingerbread man, the tree and the star from a piece of the Candy cane lane dap and adhered these with dimensionals. I finished my card with a little bakers twine bow.
This card is a reminder of all that Christmas baking still to do!
Enjoy!

Christmas2016 card six

Yes day six of my Christmas card project share.
Today's card I am mixing the Candy Cane lane paper and my favourite Merry Mice stamp.
This time my base card is Early Expresso.
I have adhered two pieces of the Candy cane lane paper to the base and covered the join with some dazzling diamonds glimmer paper. Glimmer paper just adds that Christmas sparkle! I stamped the cute mouse image in memento black ink on whisper White cardstock and coloured him with my markers. I cut the image with the layered  squares dies and cut a scalloped square from the same set with Early Expresso card.  I added a punched out star with glimmer paper. The greeting is stamped with early espresso ink and punched out with the label punch. I added a little dazzling diamonds glitter to his hat too.
The Christmas carols will begin in two days...can you believe it?
Enjoy!

Christmas 2016 card five

Wow, 5 days in a row!
Today's card we are staying with the Candy cane Christmas dsp theme.

This time I have used an image from the Christmas Magic stamp set (same set as the train image)
I have stamped the sign post with  black memento ink on whisper white card stock and die cut with a stitched oval die.I coloured the image with markers and my blender pen. The base card is Cherry cobbler with a piece of dsp from the Candy cane lane pack. I cut a small strip from the icing paper from the same pack and mounted it with a piece of Cherry cobbler card and stuck this piece to the base of the card. I mounted the stamped image with dimensionals. I stamped the greeting inCherry cobbler and punched it out with the new label punch and adhered to the base piece. I finished the card with some dazzling diamonds glitter. So five cards done and dusted!
I hope you are enjoying this series of cards.

Christmas 2016 card four

A little change of a colour palette for today!
This time I have used the Candy Cane lane paper.
This pack is full of reds and caramels and white and lots of sweet related images.
The base card is Cherry Cobbler.
I have backed a piece of the dsp in whisper white and stuck that to my base.
The sweet little gingerbread house is cut from the dsp with one of the new stitched circle dies. I have cut a second circle with a piece of cherry cobbler card and stamped it with a word stamp. Another strip of icing looking paper is tied with some red bakers twine and fixed to the bottom of the card,
I have finished the card with a stamped sentiment from the Merry mice set and punched it out with the banner punch.
A fun card for today. I hope you had a relaxing Sunday and managed to catch a ray of sunshine!

Christmas 2016 card three

I'm on a roll...Christmas card frenzy. I want to get my cards completed by December 1st.
That's the plan anyway.
My card for day three features the Christmas Magic stamp set.
This set so reminds me of one of my favourite Christmas movies, the Polar Express...love that movie.
I love this stamp set too!
The card base is the popular Emerald envy (new in-colour) and the strip of paper is again from the Presents and pine cones Dsp pack. I am getting good mileage from this paper pack! It's a 12 x 12 paper pack that I have used for two classes and still have plenty left to play with!
I have stamped my train image with memento black ink on whisper White cardstock and coloured it with my markers and blender pen. I even broke out my dazzling diamonds glitter to add to the smoke. Gotta love dazzling diamonds for Christmas cards!
I have die cut the image with the Lots of labels dies and mounted it on a bigger die cut with emerald envy cardstock. I might go back and add some gems or sequins to this one. The sentiment is stamped with Emerald envy.  That's it for day three. Enjoy your day.

Christmas 2016 card two

Here's another pretty Christmas card using the Presents and pine cones Dsp - love the mint colours in this paper pack.

This card uses die cuts from the Pretty pines thin lit die pack. There are 13 dies in this pack!
I love the dimension on this card. The base card is whisper white and the layering base is Mint macaroon embossed with the holly embossing folder. I have added a strip of the dsp and a strip of gold glimmer paper to the left side of the main image piece. The greeting is from the Oh what fun stamp set which is also currently on sale...stamped in Emerald envy. The Bow image is also cut from the die set. So there's my card for day two. Enjoy!

Christmas 2016 is coming!

Hi Readers, I'm back!

To celebrate the Christmas season, I have some Christmas cards and projects to share over the next two weeks.  My goal is to share 12 Christmas projects so here we go...

CARD NUMBER ONE...Merry Christmouse

This cute little card uses a stamp set from the current Stampin' Up! Holiday catalogue, Merry Mice.
This set is currently on sale at 25% off too!
I have stamped the mouse image on whisper white card with memento black ink and coloured him with my markers. I used an Oval die cut and a scalloped oval die cut cut from dazzling diamonds glimmer paper...soo pretty!
The base card is pool party and the pretty paper triangles are from the beautiful Presents & Pinecones Paper pack. The greeting also comes from the same stamp set and is stamped with the new Emerald Envy ink pad.

You can find this stamp set and more on sale here
