Fresh Vintage card

This is a card I made with the Fresh Vintage Sale-a-bration stamp set.
This is a beautiful set which I'm sure to be making more projects with.
I have teamed the stamps with the Everyday Enchantment paper which is also available for free with the Sale-a-bration promotion.
Sale-a-bration finishes 31st march.

Spice cake Grandfather page

This is a special page created with a beautiful photo of my son and my Dad.
This is the beautiful SPICE CAKE paper from the Summer mini.
I cased this page from the demo website (Ruth Clark was the designer).
It was such a fun page to make. Most of the embellishments are cut directly from the paper.
I love the colours in this paper - it is very me...
I also used the Lace ribbon border punch and the Blossom bouquet triple layer punch.
I hope it inspires you!

A ME page

I have been doing a challenge to scrapbook some ME photos. So often we scrap everyone else and you look back at your albums and your the only person missing.
Although this page is made from non SU product, I wanted to show you the heart embellishment I made from the gorgeous stamp from the YOU ARE LOVED set from the summer mini. I used my markers to colour the stamp.
The summer mini finishes 31st March.

Peacock Card...with punches!

My computer is having a good day today, so I thought I would upload some projects I have been working on. I was really inspired by this peacock idea I saw in one of my craft magazines so I thought I would have a go. This is my version.
I think peacocks are going to be big this season. I noticed quite a few peacock designs in the fashion world at the moment.
This one is super easy...you just need the SU bird punch and a small heart punch. I have used Night of Navy and tempting turquoise for my peacock. The base of the card is Elegant eggplant with a Wisteria mat. I have also used the matching Wisteria ribbon and the scallop edge punch.
The gorgeous vanilla flower is also made with punches...fancy flower and scallop circle with a purple bling brad in the centre.
Hope you like it and it inspires you to pull out your bird punch!

Holiday scrapbooking

I love catching up on my scrapbook in the holidays. I can finally get those pictures on paper as I have them in my mind.
This was a funny picture taking during the mad Christmas rush.
My son did all his Christmas shopping in one hit! Way to do it, I reckon!
Not sure how many of those boxes actually got given away though!!!
I have used a combination of non tradition Christmas products and some current sticker sheets.
Letters to Santa Quick accents and Riding Hood Red papers.
The stamp set you may regognize from the last mini...I knew I would get some use out of that one with all the Chocaholics in my family!
Got lots more pages planned and in the process!
Happy holidays!

Punch happy Christmas card

I designed this card with a view to workshops but decided it was a bit too fiddly. Also you need 1/2 a 12 x 12 sheet for the card base. I still love it though!
I used the Letters to Santa DSP and some of the new stamp sets...Stitched stockings and Merry and Type. You can even spy one of the new punches from the Summer mini - the postage stamp punch which coordinated perfectly with the postage Christmas stamp from that set. There are more coordinating stamps in the mini.
The base was Cherry Cobbler and I have added some narrow taffeta ribbon and some bling.
I also used the new larger scallop circle punch for the Marina mist circle. This one was fun!

Quick Christmas tags

I love collage stamping. You can get creative and pull out your stamps and stamp away.
Sometimes it takes a couple of goes until you get the look you're happy with and sometimes you get it just right in the first go!
I have used a few different stamp sets for these, all stamped on a vanilla tag.
Dasher (of course...who doesn't love Dasher!), Snow swirled, Good Cheer for the most part.
The colours are Riding Hood Red, Garden Green (which has been my go to Green for this Christmas) and Soft Suede. I have sponged the edges to finish them off nicely.
Some ideas to top off your Christmas gifts!
