Christmas 2016 card nine

What are your Christmassy plans for today? Are you singing carols, decorating the house, making or writing cards? Whatever you're up to, enjoy the festive season! I just love all the the pretty lights.
Today my task is the tree.
Here's some more inspiration for your card making.

For this card, I used the beautiful Holly embossing folder and Mint Macaroon cardstock to create my background piece. I stamped the little tree from the (retired) scentational season stamp set in Mint macaroon ink. I cut two layering circles from the die set, one in white and one in real red.
I stamped the holly image from the Father Christmas stamp set three times around the circle in Emerald Envy ink and stamped the greeting from the same set in real red in the centre. I wrapped a piece of gold twine around the mint macaron piece before adhering to a white card base. So that's my card for today. Hope you like it and get inspired.
Enjoy your Sunday!

Christmas 2016 card eight

Happy December everyone!
I hope you have a month of good things planned.
It is that time of year when everything gets crazy.
A perfect time to sneak away for an hour and enjoy some crafty time.

So here is some further inspiration for you.

Our Merry mice are decorating the tree! That's my job for tomorrow or perhaps the weekend.
This card uses another image from the Merry Mice stamp set. Can you tell I love this set?
The base card is Cherry cobbler and the pretty candy strip of paper is from the Presents and pine cones paper pack. The tree is a vintage stamp that is one of my favourites, Swirly Christmas (retired) which I stamped in Emerald Envy. The greeting is also stamped in Emerald envy on a scrap of pool party card and cut out with the banner punch. I punched a second banner with silver paper and layered them on my card. I stamped a couple of the star images with pool party also either side of the banner. The cute mice were coloured in with markers.
Hope you are enjoying this series.
Back tomorrow,
Susanne

The base card is Cherry Cobbler. I have adhered two strips of the Candy Cane lane dsp to a piece of whisper white card and adhered this to the base card. I have stamped an image from the Oh What Fun stamp set in Early expression and cut this with the largest circle from the stitched die set. I fussy cut the gingerbread man, the tree and the star from a piece of the Candy cane lane dap and adhered these with dimensionals. I finished my card with a little bakers twine bow.
This card is a reminder of all that Christmas baking still to do!
Enjoy!

Christmas2016 card six

Yes day six of my Christmas card project share.
Today's card I am mixing the Candy Cane lane paper and my favourite Merry Mice stamp.
This time my base card is Early Expresso.
I have adhered two pieces of the Candy cane lane paper to the base and covered the join with some dazzling diamonds glimmer paper. Glimmer paper just adds that Christmas sparkle! I stamped the cute mouse image in memento black ink on whisper White cardstock and coloured him with my markers. I cut the image with the layered  squares dies and cut a scalloped square from the same set with Early Expresso card.  I added a punched out star with glimmer paper. The greeting is stamped with early espresso ink and punched out with the label punch. I added a little dazzling diamonds glitter to his hat too.
The Christmas carols will begin in two days...can you believe it?
Enjoy!

Christmas 2016 card five

Wow, 5 days in a row!
Today's card we are staying with the Candy cane Christmas dsp theme.

This time I have used an image from the Christmas Magic stamp set (same set as the train image)
I have stamped the sign post with  black memento ink on whisper white card stock and die cut with a stitched oval die.I coloured the image with markers and my blender pen. The base card is Cherry cobbler with a piece of dsp from the Candy cane lane pack. I cut a small strip from the icing paper from the same pack and mounted it with a piece of Cherry cobbler card and stuck this piece to the base of the card. I mounted the stamped image with dimensionals. I stamped the greeting inCherry cobbler and punched it out with the new label punch and adhered to the base piece. I finished the card with some dazzling diamonds glitter. So five cards done and dusted!
I hope you are enjoying this series of cards.

Christmas 2016 card four

A little change of a colour palette for today!
This time I have used the Candy Cane lane paper.
This pack is full of reds and caramels and white and lots of sweet related images.
The base card is Cherry Cobbler.
I have backed a piece of the dsp in whisper white and stuck that to my base.
The sweet little gingerbread house is cut from the dsp with one of the new stitched circle dies. I have cut a second circle with a piece of cherry cobbler card and stamped it with a word stamp. Another strip of icing looking paper is tied with some red bakers twine and fixed to the bottom of the card,
I have finished the card with a stamped sentiment from the Merry mice set and punched it out with the banner punch.
A fun card for today. I hope you had a relaxing Sunday and managed to catch a ray of sunshine!
