Love is in the Air

I have needed to make 2 engagement cards in the last week!

Must be the season of love!

I think when you make one of these cards you should make two

and have an extra one on hand.

I have used Crystal effects sprinkled with the new chunky glitter in the love card.

I heat emossed the hearts and sprinkled one with dazzling diamonds in the

Congratulations card. The Congratulations is one of the SAB sets that you can get for free

this month.

Cute Origami boxes

I have been churning out these little beauties over recent weeks.

They are so easy to make and look terrific in the Ginger Blossom and Bali Breeze papers.

Love these papers. I'm stocking up on these!!!

Smoke Haze

Taken from by backyard yesterday morning.

A thick smoke haze hangs over outer eastern Melbourne, probably from the Healesville fires.

We also had fires in Kinglake, Marysville and Yarra Glen last weekend.

Such a tragedy.

I think we would all like to help in some way. I have just been told about a card drive which is being run by Scrapbooking Memories magazine. So if you're interested, head over to their website.

Flower fusion Scrapbook Page

These felt flowers are to die for. The bright happy colors would make any page or card look great! I have used the Earth Elements brads to attach them and I added a rub-on from the Cherished memories pack. These rub-ons are very classy. The paper circles are again from the Bali Breeze pack. Love this paper!

Eastern Blooms Scrapbook page

I have been making some beautiful 8 x 8 pages with the new Summer mini stamp sets and felt flowers. This first one is made with the gorgeous Eastern Blooms stamp set. This one stamps up really well in bright happy colors. I have also used the yummy Bali Breeze papers from the Summer mini. The wording is from the Life definitions stamp set...a great one for scrapbookers!
