Christmas Gift box
How gorgeous is this snowflake die!
These little boxes are new in the SU catalogue. They come already scored and die cut.
You just have to fold together and decorate.
I have added some Christmas bling to my box with silver glitter paper and the gorgeous new Vintage faceted buttons.

Summer Sillouettes - card 3
I needed to get some Christmas cards made and I loved the border stamp from the Summer Sillouettes set.
My card base is Gumball green and I added a stamped Whisper white layer which I dry embossed with my scoreboard,
The cute tree and the greeting is from the Joyous Celebrations set from the Christmas mini.
I used the large Scallop circle punch for my tree stamp. I also added some sparkly rhinestones, after all it is a Christmas card!
How versatile is this set!
I can see myself churning out a few of these...so quick and easy!

Summer Sillouettes - card 2
This is my second card.
I changed the colours to suit the recipient.
This time I went with brights...Lucky Limeade, Daffodil delight and Razzleberry.
I embossed the Framelit die with the Polka Dots embossing folder.
My card base is Daffodil Delight and the DSP is Summer Smooches.
I added a little bling to this one...Dazzling diamonds glitter and a sparkly rhinestone.

Summer Sillouettes - card 1
This stamp set immediately caught my eye in the new SU catalogue.
This is my first card created with this set for a friends birthday.
I used kraft, Early Expresso and Pink Pirouette inks on this one to suit the recipient.
My card base is early expresso and I used the Mocha Morning DSP and Early expresso satin ribbon.
I finished the card with an Antique brad and a birthday greeting punched with the modern label punch.
I also framed the card with framelits and some paper piercing.

Fathers Day scrapbook page
This is my favourite photo from Fathers Day and I created this layout.
I have used Marina Mist, Basic Grey and Riding Hood Red cardstock.
I created my embellishments with the Sweetheart stamp set and the title block with the framelits die and the sizzlit letter dies. I added a rub-on to complet the page. Hope you like it!

Happy Fathers Day!
I am very fortunate today to have been able to share Father's Day with my Dad.
Here is my card...
The main sentiment comes from the Word Play stamp set.
This is a great one for card makers and scrapbookers.
The happy fathers day comes from the really useful Teeny tiny sentiments and the dad comes from For My family.
The card base is Soft Suede with an Island Indigo mat..great masculine colours.
The DSP is from the Big Top Birthday pack.
I added a tiny line of Daffodil delight and some Soft Suede and Turquoise flags.
The card is finished off with a button from the neutrals pack.
And for the younger generation...
A bright happy card made with the Owl punch.
Tempting Turquoise is the base with matching DSP and a tiny bit of craft and Expresso.
The sentiment is from the same pack as the last card just stamped on a banner this time.
Hope you like them.
Happy stamping!

21st birthday Inspiration
I need quite a few 21st Birthday cards over the coming months so I have been trying out some new techniques and making some of those needed cards as well.
This one is a technique I learned on the net.
Basically you stamp the coloured images, overstamp them with a large solid stamp and clear emboss it.
Then you brayer over the whole lot with a darker ink.
The stamp set I have used is Extreme Elements which is due to retire from our catalogue at the end of this month. This is a really useful stamp set for creating interesting backgrounds.
I have also been playing with my new scoring board. I love how it has so many scoring lines.
I have created a really cool background by scoring and sanding to highlight the score lines.

This card I have used masking techniques to create both my background and my focal image.
The stamp set for the greeting is one we got at Convention called Memorable Moments. It's great for those special occasion cards...both birthdays and anniversaries. You'll have to wait until September 1 for this one!
The key is from Artistic Etchings. I have used Pacific Point card and matching ink for this card.
