For Dads who like Music

This was a card I designed for a Father's Day workshop.
I used Cajun Craze for my card base and for stamping the sentiment.
We used the Music wheel and the Decorative label punch and also the Bird punch for the bird and branch. I gave my bird a little red breast!

More Fathers day Goodies

This little bag/box we created in my workshops last month.
It is completed with just one piece of A4 cardstock (in this case Concord Crush).
The sweet little stamp set is called Sweetheart which fits the Heart punch perfectly.
The paper is from the In-colour pack (Concord Crush).
I scalloped the top edge of my bag with the scallop edge punch.
The letters are made with the timeless Type sizzlit dies and the Big Shot in tempting turquoise.
The sentiment is from the Teeny tiny sentiments stamp set.
I also made one of these boxes in Cajun Craze and placed a real red heart in the middle to match my previous card. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo before I gave it away!

Fathers Day card

This is a card I designed for Fathers' Day with the new Petite Pennants punch and matching Pennant Parade stamp set. Both my husband and my father play golf so the card suited both!
I made it in 2 colourways (I will share the other one shortly).
The paper is from the new pack called Just add Cake. This is a great "occasions" pack.
I have made quite a few cards from this pack already!
This card would also be suitable for a birthday card by just changing the sentiment (see the Teeny tiny sentiments stamp set).

Scrapbooking loss

For me, scrapbooking is all about recording my memories supported by photos.
It is a place for me to record my thoughts.
This is a page I created as a healing process. This month we lost my much loved mother-in-law.
This is a treasured photo taken last year.
I was inspired by a layout I saw at convention with this punched heart design.
I received some gorgeous new papers recently called Cheerful Treat and I loved this paper
in the pack for my page design. The lettering is done with my Big Shot and the Timeless Type sizzlits set. This is my favourite lettering for my scrapbook titles as it is a perfect size.
I have teamed the paper with Bashful Blue and Concord Crush cardstock.
The buttons are from the brights button collection.

Enjoying a Birthday!

This is a scrapbook page I created to remember a special birthday.
The base of my page is from the neutrals paper stack and creates a great neutral base for my bright colourful flower embellishments.
The stamp sets I've used are Priceless and Petal Pizzaz...both soon to be retired :(
Priceless is one of my old favorites...one that I can always find a use for. It has cute butterflies and gorgeous flourishes. I'll be sad to see this one go!
I've got a lot of bling happening on this page...rhinestones and pearls and buttons.
The colours are Pear Pizzaz, Regal Rose and lavender Lace (retired).
I have been missing my lavenders/mauves and I'm pleased to see we're getting a new in-colour along these lines.
I love this page and I love the memory it holds.

Holiday scrapping!

Where Have I been the last month?
Here's my scrapbook page!
I have enjoyed a lovely month long break!
I am now enjoying scrapbooking my adventures...
I love to use my stamps on my scrapbook pages...always have!
I am a stamper first and foremost alfter all.
Here is my header page for my holiday photos..I hope it inspires you!
My base cardstock is black 12 x 12 textured card.
Do you know if you buy single packs of one colour at the moment, you get 6 sheets of smooth and 6 sheets of textured card? I think it's great as there are occasions to use both...the smooth is better to stamp on but the textured makes a lovely base. I think that is going to change when we get our new catalogue soon!
The stamp set I've used is Eastern Blooms (also set to disappear I think).
My ink colours were Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise and Poppy Parade (in-colour).
My lettering was done with my Timeless Type alphabet and my Big shot with matching cardstock. Love that! This alphabet is perfect for scrapbooking...no more running out of vowels!
I have also tucked a little Curly label punch behind my photo with the date. I have done alot more scrapping this past month so I'll share some more soon. Stay tuned! Happy stamping! Susanne
