Crossword card female
Ok, so this is the female version of my crossword card design.
This time I used the new Tea for Two DSP (coming in new mini).
Everyone's gone mad for this paper! I think we've all gone a little hexagon mad, actually!
Yep, the hexagons are right there printed on the paper, all ready to cut out and layer as you wish!
I used Daffodil delight for my Oval background and cut it out with the matching framelit die.
The base of this card is Pink Pirouette and the ribbon is Daffodil Delight stitched ribbon.
The little flower is also from the Oh Hello stamp set finished off with a tiny pearl.
The little button and stamp is from the Itty bitty bits stamp set.
I've got a couple of people in mind for this one. Might have to make one or two more!

Crossword birthday male
Know someone who loves crosswords?
Then you're going to love this new stamp set called Cross my Heart.
This is the male version of my card design.
I used the same Sycamore Street DSP from the last card for the background.
I stamped the Oval stamp from Oh Hello in Sahara Sand and cut it out with the matching ovals framelits.
I stamped the crossword image twice in basic grey and layered it on the stamped oval piece.
I stamped two hearts from I Heart Hearts in Midnight Muse.
The stitched ribbon is also the matching Midnight Muse.
I layered the DSP on Sahara Sand then on the Midnight Muse card base.
A card all ready for a crossword puzzle lover...and I've got just the one in mind!
Hope he likes it!

A Happy Occasion
It's been a busy weekend in our household!
DH celebrates his 50th birthday this week and this is the card I made for him.
I have used the brand new hexigon embossing folder to create my background with Daffodil Delight card.
I created a banner with the SAB DSP pack Sycamore Street ( I'm going to try and score another free one of these before the end of the Sale-a-bration promo!)
The oval background is from the new Oh Hello stamp set (stamped in Daffodil Delight and cut out with the new ovals framelits).
The stamp sets are Memorable Moments and Bloomin Marvelous*(SAB)
The card base is Basic Grey and Sahara Sand layer.
I finished the card with a Basic Grey fabric button(retired)
Hope he likes it!

And a December wedding...or two!
As if December is not busy enough, we also had two family weddings!
The bonus of course is a plethera of beautiful photots to scrapbook.
The first wedding we attended was in Lake Tekapo, New Zealand.
It was so picutresque! As luck would have it (or maybe good planning??) the lupins were in flower everywhere along the highways and beyond. They were so pretty.
And our two beautiful flowergirls could not resist gathering a bouquet to give to our beautiful bride on her wedding day.
I knew I wanted to go white with this page to let the colours in the photo shine and to compliment the flowergirls lacy white dresses. I found in my stash this paper from the Floral Distric pack which I thought matched perfectly. To stop my page from being too busy, I created the white square in the centre.
The idea for the flower accent came from pouring over old scrapbook magazines while I was on holiday.
I just used folder circles and a leftover piece from my lacy punch border for the centre. The brad was from last years Sale-a-bration offerings.
Look out for this years Sale-a-bration catalogue due out on 22nd January.
It's bigger and better than ever!!!
Enjoy!

My Christmas tags
These are the tags I created to go on my gifts this year.
I have used the Scentsational Season stamp set and dies and the ornament stamp set for the images.
I also used the Sizzix Doilies die, scallop circle punch, Lacy brocade embossing folder (from holiday mini)
twine and sparkly brads to finish. I also invested in some of the new ink pads...super juicy and great for these solid images (Cherry Cobbler, Gumball green and Soft suede).
They looked pretty cute in real life!

The Tree scrapbook page
I have used some kraft cardstock for my layout base and DSP from the Be of Good cheer paper packfor my background (other papers are from my stash).
The pretty sparkly title I made with my sissix dies and silver glitter paper that I coloured with a sponge dauber and ink to match my layout.
I hand cut my banner and added some red letter stickers. The ribbon is the narrow early expresso taffeta ribbon which drapes nicely to hold the banner.
Hope you like it!

Some Christmas scrapping
I thought I would share with you what I have been creating over the past few days.
My snowflake die has had a workout even if it is Summer here at Christmas time!
It just adds some Christmas spirit...
I also found some Chritmas sentiment stamps and some border strip stickers which fitted in perfectly with my layout.
I hope it gives you some inspiration to scrap all those Christmas photos!
Susanne
